SallingPlast AS' objective is, as a subcontractor, to develop, produce and market fittings, in any form, for piping or piping in plastic or piping with jacket. SallingPlast wishes to be among the leading suppliers of high-quality plastic fittings, produced in accordance with our customers' expectations and our usual standards.
The employees are the most important asset in SallingPlast, and all employees are the foundation of SallingPlast being able to deliver high-quality products on time. The employees are trained continuously and this way we ensure that your employees' skills and expertise match the challenges of the future.
It is important that the employees act with dignity and respect to all regardless of sexual orientation, religion, age, ethnic background and gender. Any form of discrimination and harassment is not tolerated.
All employees shall protect information, whether it comes from suppliers, customers, business partners or internal departments. Confidential information must not be disclosed to third parties without the owner's permission.
Employees are free to organize themselves in the association of their wishes. SallingPlast pays the salary and benefits that are above minimum wage laid down by the agreement with the Confederation of Danish Industry.
SallingPlast will ensure to improve employees' working environment, as a minimum in accordance with the applicable working environment legislation.
SallingPlast will, when necessary, provide education, instruction, arrangement and monitoring of working practices, so that the work always can be performed under complete security.
SallingPlast do not employ persons under the age of 15 years.
Gifts and Bribery
SallingPlast attaches importance to integrity and honesty in all business activities and accepts no form of corruption or bribery.
In order to avoid conflicts between SallingPlast's interests and the employees' personal interests, it is only allowed to receive gifts in a size, which has been approved as common practice in the industry, and which is not taxable according to SKAT.
Employees must not be offered bribe or other forms of incentives, which can give an improper competitive advantage.
SallingPlast has much focus on the environment. We are consistently working on reducing waste in production and packaging. At the same time focus is on the reduction of energy consumption, and energy source purity.
We constantly seek to reduce the use of chemicals to a minimum, and where possible hazardous chemicals are substituted with less hazardous or non-hazardous chemicals.
SallingPlast has an active role in helping to maintain and develop local culture and leisure activities. This is done by SallingPlast providing financial support to local non-political associations and individuals, who are active within local culture and leisure activities.
Follow-up and Compliance
SallingPlast expects that the supplier agrees with the values described in this Code of Conduct
Implementation of this Code of Conduct is the supplier's responsibility. SallingPlast reserves the right to carry out inspections to ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct. Inspections may be carried out by independent third party and may be unannounced.
All suppliers must as a minimum comply with local laws and regulations in the countries in which they operate.
In order to ensure that the above is continued in the supply chain, SallingPlast expects the supplier to arrange for documentation of transfer of the requirements to any subcontractors.
